Harold Ramis Dead at 69, Did You Know His Impact?                   Growing up in the early 80's you were bombarded with ideas from the mind of Harold Ramis. If you fancy yourself a Bill Murray fan you have Harold Ramis to thank for that. If you found yourself laughing at ridiculously stupid movies in the late 70's and early 80's you have Harold Ramis to thank for that. The guy was a legend, maybe you saw him as a character actor in movies like Stripes and Ghostbusters, but did you know that he wrote those movies? The man had an amazing mind and a knack for making other people stars while he just hung in the background. He helped to launch the movie career's of many of the most famous comedians of the 80's, Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd and Jon Candy to name a few.So when you sit back and think of how much you were entertained by movies like Animal House, National Lampoon's Vacation, Groundhog Day, Caddyshack and back to School just know that you have Harold Ramis to thank for that. RIP. To see his life's work click here for his IMDB page
