Eagles Kicker David Akers was rattled by Family Emergency days before Packers game

Apparently David Akers had a lot more on his mind than football when he missed some big kicks against the Packers.He was excused from practice the Friday before to attend a ultrasound and MRI for his six year old daughter Halley.Akers and his wife were told that she had a growth on her ovary and it would have to be removed before it spread. Akers made no excuses after the game, I excuse him.

My wife stumbled across this the other day and was very alarmed by it. Is this safe? It does not look so healthy for the babies joints. From my own experience, when my son was three or four I was washing his hands in the bathroom and i went to pull his sleeve up and I dislocated his elbow. How safe is "baby swinging yoga"? What if you lose your grip and throw the kid off the house? Your comments would be appreciated.

New York City restaurant grows it's produce on the Roof

A New York City restaurateur has come up with the first "rooftop to table" restaurant in the U.S. Bell Book & Candle which opened in late summer grows all of it produce on the roof of it's West Village location. Chef John Mooney uses a hydroponic system to grow these ingredients which are lowered from the roof by pulley.

Report:Regis Philbin has just announced this will be his last year hosting "Live
